European Championship 2008 - France

France have qualified for the 2008 Euro championships from Group C alongside Italy, holding off an emergent Scotland team to do so.

France will be looking to build on their previous Euro championships victories in 1984 and 2000. France are currently in transition due to the retirement of many of their recent stars and their inconsistent form means they offer a cautiously optimistic betting opportunity.

France have an experienced coach in Raymond Domenech and this will be a great help as continuity is very important at International level.

France's greatest success in recent years has been their victory in the 1998 World Cup final on their home turf as they were led by Zinedane Zidane and they will be looking to the likes of Henry to show them the finishing line this summer in their attempt at a third Euro Championships.
