European Championship 2008 - Greece

Should the Greeks be getting over excited at the possibility of defending their Euro win of four years ago? They have sailed through to this years finals heading Group C ahead of Turkey and Norway but this was not the strongest of Groups. With a name like Gekas of Wall Street Film fame we have to put him up as the Greece Star player, if nothing else for his name and also for his hat trick he scored in their match against Malta in the qualifying stages. Greece will be looking for him to reproduce this feat in the summer if they are to make it to the final stages in 2008 and he maybe an interesting top goalscorer bet at very big prices.
